Event Description

HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CAMP

Indiana Volleyball Training's High School Team Camp is designed to be the perfect combination of skills work, competition, and fun -- all of which are key to a program's success. Our High School Team Camp is a great way to help prepare your Varsity or Junior Varsity team for the upcoming fall season. The first 3 sessions emphasize skills training and drills to help develop team systems and concepts. The remaining 4 sessions will be a tournament-style competition with several live match opportunities against a wide variety of opponents. All the coaches in attendance will have access to a  Q&A with Coach Steve Aird and the Indiana staff to help with any questions about your High School program. We will cover topics such as practice planning, philosophies, techniques, and mental training. Indiana coaches are also available before, in between, and after sessions to work with your team on-court, answer any questions, or advise on trainings, lineups, or systems.

We understand that success in your season depends on not only the skill of your team but also the connectedness of your team. An Indiana Team Camp tradition is our lip-sync battle where teams practice a lip-sync routine and compete against the other teams at the event. This team bonding activity has been one of our most popular sections of camp and is sure to create a bonding memory for your team. Participation is optional.

All volleyball facilities are air-conditioned. Overnight campers will stay at air-conditioned Foster dorms, just a short walk from the volleyball facilities. Both commuting and overnight campers will have access to one of the newest dining halls on campus, Wright Dining Hall. Wright has nine different dining stations—one of which is Free From IX, where each menu item is free from the nine most common food allergens.

Attending camp with Indiana Volleyball Training not only gives you access to a facility and staff at the NCAA Division I level, but also a program that competes in one of the best conferences in the country, the B1G. Training with us will prepare you for the fall and set your program up for successful seasons to come.
