Mike Trader's 40th Annual Mid-America Basketball Camps

2026 Summer Camps
CCC - Columbus

The aims of the Mike Trader’s Mid-America Basketball School will be to teach and develop individual skills and to have fun. The daily schedule will include league games and contests. Players will be divided into separate leagues according to age. Fundamentals will be stressed. Individual drills and training techniques to develop strength, endurance, quickness and jumping ability will be taught. Each camper will be analyzed with the assistance of individual video and attention given to individual technique/correction. Lectures, demonstrations and competition will be according to age level and ability so each camper will have an opportunity to excel.

One of the outstanding features at Mike Trader’s Mid-America Basketball Camp is that each camper will have their shot digitally recorded and analyzed by a coach during camp.

Overnight / Commuter Camp Details

Each camper is responsible for their own linens and towels.
Other articles to bring: 1 pair basketball shoes, 5 pairs athletic socks, 5 t-shirts, 3 pairs basketball shorts, bathing suit, pajamas, laundry bag, toilet articles, stationery and pen, sweater or jacket, lightweight blanket and pillow.

  • Check-In is from 12:30 pm-2:30 pm on the first day of camp for all campers.
  • Check-In for commuters is from 1:30 pm-2:30 pm the first day of camp.
  • Departure time will be noon on the last day of camp.
  • An awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 am on the last day of camp.
  • Camp will finish at 9:00 pm each evening (except the final day of camp). It will begin at 9:00 am each day (except the first day of camp).

Enrollment

The School is open to boys and girls for both overnight campers and commuters from 7 years of age through the 11th grade. An advance registration, non-refundable deposit of $35 must accompany each application or register online at www.traderscamp.com. Complete confirmation information will be sent upon receipt of camp application and deposit.

Location & Facilities

Mike Trader’s Mid-America Basketball Camps Individual Sessions will be held for overnight sessions at Doane University (Crete, NE) & CCC-Columbus with Day Camps at Sidney High School, Norfolk YMCA, Bennington Middle School, Hastings Middle School, Scottsbluff High School, and GICC. Campers for the overnight sessions will be housed in air-conditioned dormitories with professional supervision provided. All meals will be served by the regular college food service.

Health & Insurance
We ask each attending camper to be covered by his own personal or family accident and illness insurance. Please list your personal or family insurance company on the application blank on the back page of this form, along with other pertinent insurance information. Campers who do not have personal or family insurance are responsible for their own insurance and must show proof of coverage to attend camp.
