WHY DIALLEO BURKS SR. FOOTBALL WIDE RECEIVERS ACADEMY? The academy provides targeted instruction for Wide Receivers (WR). Athletes receive position - specific coaching to enhance their skills and understanding of the game.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

  • Skill Development
    • Teach fundamental techniques for the skilled positions (e.g., wide receiver route running).
    • Develop advanced skills tailored to individual positions to improve player performance on the field.
    • Offer small group and one-on-one coaching to address players’ unique strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Exposure & Networking
    • Provide opportunities for players to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and scouts.
    • Foster connections and mentorship between attendees and experienced players or coaches.
    • Offer advice on recruitment processes and what it takes to play at higher levels of competition.
  • Teamwork & Leadership
    • Build team camaraderie through group tasks and practice drills.
    • Encourage leadership qualities in participants, showing them how to lead by example both on and off the field.
    • Promote accountability, discipline, and sportsmanship in all activities.
  • Game Strategy & Football IQ
    • Improve understanding of offensive and defensive plays.
    • Teach participants how to read opponents, analyze the field, and make smart decisions in real time.
    • Foster teamwork and communication by running simulated game scenarios and group exercises.

WHAT TO BRING: All campers need to bring football cleats and all other equipment they would need to compete in a game (mouthpiece, gloves, etc). Players will NOT need a helmet or pads as there will be no contact.

OUR GOAL: We aim for a player-to-coach ratio of 8:1 but will not exceed 10:1. This ensures that the coaches can spend quality time with all players attending and are not overwhelmed with large camp numbers. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in a small group and one-on-one setting. Depending on the numbers there could possibly be two sessions for the camp. You will be notified in advance.
