2026 Defiance College Yellow Jacket Futsal Tournament

We are excited to announce the date for the 9th Annual Defiance College Yellow Jacket Futsal Tournament:

The tournament will be held on March 7th, 2026.

Registration is open for all high school and high school age club teams.

The game of futsal is a fast paced 4v4 + keepers game that occurs on a hard surface, requiring technical ball mastery and allowing for spectacular tricks. It is one of three officially recognized FIFA games along with soccer and beach soccer - each with their own World Cup.

Roster sizes can be a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 8. If you have any questions about rosters please contact hzar@defiance.edu

Men's Team Registration

Karl H Weaner Center/McMaster Gymnasium

Team Registration:
When registering as a team, your team captain/coach must first register and make payment for your team, as each player can then register under your specific team name once your team has been registered. If your team is not registered first, then players from that team will not be able to register. We will accept check or cash payments on site, if prior arrangements have been made by contacting hzar@defiance.edu

Tournament Rules and Reminders

Team Registration Price: Price per team is $100

Individual Registration:
It is possible to register as an individual (price $20). You will be placed on a house team with other players who have signed up individually. If you would like to be put on the same team as a friend, please register at the same time and then contact hzar@defiance.edu requesting to be placed on the same team together. This will be first come first serve, and we will place you together as best we can.

Registration: Starts at 9:00am, please register at least 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled game.

Games Times: Saturday, March 7th - 10:00am - 5:00pm

Age Division: High school and high school age club teams.

Games: 4 game guarantee, single elimination playoff w/championship game
