Youth Skills Camp

Half Days

This Youth Skills Camp will teach the fundamentals of the game intertwined with fun games and summer camp activities. You will receive instruction from the Grace College softball staff and players. Individual skill work will occur each day, including pitching, catching, fielding, hitting, throwing, and base running.

Lunch is not provided in this Half Day skills camp. We will hold a water day weather permitting one of the days of camp as well, consisting of learning how to slide on a slip and slide. This camp is a day camp, not an overnight camp.

Check-in will occur at Miller Athletic Complex at 8:45am each morning and pick-up times will go from 11:00 - 11:30am. If you need to make an exception and have a later pick-up time, please contact Head Coach, Amanda Jones at amanda.jones@grace.edu.

Full Days

Lunch will be provided from Alpha Dining Hall located on campus, and packed lunches are also allowed. Participants will each lunch together with Grace College players and coaches. We will hold a water day weather permitting one of the days of camp as well, consisting of learning how to slide on a slip and slide. This camp is a day camp, not an overnight camp.

Check-in will occur at Miller Athletic Complex at 8:45am each morning and pick-up times will go from 2:00 - 2:30pm. If you need to make an exception and have a later pick-up time, please contact Head Coach, Amanda Jones at amanda.jones@grace.edu.

All camp registrations will be based off of the grade the participant is entering in the fall of 2026.

What to Bring

• Refillable Water Bottle
• Cool practice clothes
• Softball glove
• Softball bat (We have a few extras if you do not have one)
• Sneakers and cleats
• Catcher's gear if applicable
• Sunscreen
• Swimsuit for water day
• Packed lunch if applicable
• Any other protective gear preferred (facemask, mouthguard, etc)
