LeTourneau University Tennis Camps

YellowJacket Performance Overnight Camp

This camp is designed to give you the tools necessary to become a better competitor, drills are specifically tailored to maximize your game style, make better decisions on shot selection, and learn how to move better. This camp is all about footwork and smart tactics. We welcome all tournament players and those pursuing a higher level of competitive tennis.

Training at this camp includes:

  • Stroke techniques and proper mechanics
  • Serve technique
  • Footwork
  • Shot selection
  • Importance of first 4 shots
  • Building points
  • Mental toughness
  • Goal setting

Camp ends at noon with awards celebration
Cost:
Overnight Camper | $641 ($600 + $41 Fee)
Commuter Camper | $535 ($500 + $35 Fee)
*10% discount for multiple children registered for camp in the same transaction.

7:00 AM Wake up and breakfast in LETU’s Corner Café Dining Hall
8:30 AM Coach’s presentations
9:00 AM Drill with focus on stroke mechanics and match tactics
11:45 AM Lunch in LETU’s Corner Café Dining Hall
1:15 PM Warm up and coach’s presentations
1:30 PM Point play, matches, games
3:00 PM Off court break and coach’s instructions
3:30 PM Point play continues
5:00 PM Dinner at Corner Café
6:30 PM Evening activities
10:00 PM Campers to rooms

Cost includes:

  • Instruction - 3 sessions per day.  Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
  • 3 meals each day in LETU's Corner Cafe Dining Hall
  • All campers will receive camp t-shirts and awards
  • Overnight campers will stay in LETU dormitory housing with staff supervision.  2 campers per room.
