The GVSU Laker Team Wrestling Camp is a team camp designed to provide high-quality instruction, structured training, and competitive dual meet opportunities in a collegiate environment.
This camp is ideal for high school programs looking to develop technical skills, improve practice habits, and compete as a team against quality opponents over a three-day span.
Camp Focus:

Technical instruction in all positions (neutral, top, bottom)

Proper drilling habits and training structure

Team-based practice environment

Competitive mindset and match preparation

Applying technique in live dual meet competition
Athletes will receive coaching designed to help teams train more effectively and translate skills directly into competition.
Competition Format:
- Minimum of 5 dual meets per team
- Duals held over the three-day camp
- Opportunity to wrestle multiple opponents in a team setting
- Emphasis on competitive reps and match experience
Train in a Collegiate Environment:
Teams will train inside Grand Valley State University’s state-of-the-art athletic facilities and receive exposure to a collegiate wrestling environment. Athletes and coaches will experience firsthand how college programs structure practices, preparation, and competition.

Schedule:
- A detailed camp schedule, including training sessions and dual meet times, will be provided to participating teams prior to the event.
Parents are welcome to observe all sessions.
Open to any and all entrants; limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
