Jumpers Camp
The SRU Jumps Camp will provide high quality, in-depth coverage of the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump. Campers will be able to choose which jump they want to specialize in or can gain a wide breadth of knowledge for all jumps. Jumps camp will include seven instructional sessions and one video/lecture session touching on jumping technique and other topics directly related to the jumping events. Additionally, athletes will gain knowledge of how to properly train for jumping events through weightlifting, plyometrics, and speed and power development.

The SRU Jumps camp will be led by some of the most accomplished coaches in Pennsylvania. In addition to our lead instructors, campers will receive instruction from many current and former SRU track and field jumpers.
Tabitha Bemis, Slippery Rock University: Coach Bemis has turned the SRU Jumps program into one of the premier jumping programs in the Atlantic Region. She has led SRU jumpers to school records, conference champions, national qualifying marks and All-American accolades.
Dan Rockage, Hickory High School: Coach Rockage has coached athletes to NCAA national qualifying berths and PIAA State Championships throughout his career at SRU and Hickory High School.
Jeremiah Clinochoc: Coach Clinchoc of Susquehanna University has led Susquehanna to multiple Landmark Conference Championships and coached a 3rd place finish in the high jump at the 2023 NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championship.
Brooke Astor, Lehigh University: Coach Astor makes her debut at SRU Jumps Camp in 2026. Brooke has coached 23 Patriot Leage Champions in the jumps and multi events. As an athlete, Coach Astor won 7 Patriot League Championships as an athlete for Lehigh.
Please note: To keep the camper-to-instructor ratio low, the camp will be capped at 60 total athletes. Spots will fill fast, so register ASAP to reserve your spot.

Camp Instructors
Bradi Rhoades, Vault Shack/Westminster College: Coach Bradi Rhoades (‘04 Alumni) and owner of “The Vault Shack” will act as the lead instructor of the SRU Pole Vault Camp! Coach Rhoades has been coaching pole vault at Westminster College for 17 years where he has accumulated 19 NCAA DIII All-Americans including the 2022 NCAA DIII National Champion (Emma Rudolph) and 2017 NCAA DIII National Champion (Marissa Kalsey). In 2017 Marissa Kalsey set the NCAA DIII National meet record at 4.22m (13’10”) which still stands today!
Cam Daugherty, Slippery Rock University: An alum of SRU, Cam was a 5-time NCAA DII All-American in the Pole Vault and 2012 National Champion during his time at the Rock. After his collegiate career, he coached at SRU and was named the Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year in 2017.
Tom Hale, Hickory High School: Coach Hale has coached the Pole Vaulters at Hickory for nearly three decades. During his time he has coached numerous athletes over 16 feet on the men’s side and 12 feet on the women’s side.
Maddie Conley, Vault Shack: Coach Conely was a NCAA DIII All-American Pole Vaulter for Westminster College. Upon graduation, she has worked as a coach at Vault Shack.
