Summer Day Camp

Roanoke Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Grant Zimmerman is hosting a summer day camp on the beautiful campus of Roanoke College. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn and improve your skills in the game of lacrosse in a fun and educational environment. Campers will learn individual fundamentals and team concepts under the guidance of the Roanoke Men's Lacrosse Staff and current Roanoke Maroon lacrosse player. 2026 Prospect Camp Schedule:

• Check-In → 8:30am - 9:00am (Kerr Stadium)
• Roll Call and Warm-Up → 9:00am - 9:30am
• Positional Instruction/Team Concepts and Drills → 9:30am - 11:00am
• Contests and Games → 11:00am - 12:00pm 
• Lunch → 12:00pm - 1:00pm
• Speaker and Lesson of the Day → 1:00pm - 1:45pm
• 7v7 or 10v10 Full Field Games → 1:45pm - 2:45pm 
• Lacrosse Competitions and Fun Games → 2:45pm - 3:45pm
• Wrap-Up and Final Meeting for the Day → 3:45pm - 4:00pm

2026 Prospect Camp Overview:

• Location: Kerr Stadium | 301 N Market St, Salem, VA 24153
• Meals: Breakfast is NOT provided. Please eat a good breakfast before being dropped off for camp in the morning. Lunch is provided for campers in the Roanoke College dining hall. All campers should bring a water bottle for field sessions.

• Medical Protocol: Athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
