Coaches Coaching Coaches
The Fresno State Football coaching clinic is singularly focused on fundamentals, position-specific techniques, and proven drills, as well as cutting-edge techniques for teaching scheme in all phases. Coaches who attend leave with practical tools and instructional strategies they can immediately apply to improve player performance. This is a player development coach's clinic focused on teaching the game, not discussing philosophies and/or culture.

Keynote Speaker
Kirk Ferentz – University of Iowa Football Head Coach
Kirk Ferentz stands as one of the most accomplished and enduring leaders in college football. As the longest-tenured head coach in major college football, Ferentz has helmed the University of Iowa since 1999, guiding the Hawkeyes to sustained success and becoming the winningest coach in Big Ten history with over two decades of tough, consistent performance on the field. Under his leadership, Iowa has captured multiple conference titles, earned numerous bowl appearances, and developed players who have excelled at the highest levels of the sport — all while setting a standard for discipline, fundamentals, and on-field excellence.
OFFENSE
Randy Hedberg – North Dakota State Quarterbacks Coach (Ret)
Quarterbacks coach at North Dakota State University. Hedberg played as a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) in 1977. He was the head football coach at Minot State University, his alma mater, from 1982 to 1989 and St. Cloud State University from 1999 to 2007, compiling a career college football record of 94–74–2 (.560).
Hedberg was the quarterbacks coach at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He was hired in February 2008. After the 2013 season, he signed on to be the quarterbacks coach at North Dakota State University. Here, Hedberg would coach Carson Wentz, who went on to become the second overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL draft. Hedberg also coached Easton Stick, a fifth-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Chargers; and Trey Lance, the third overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2021 NFL draft.
Hedberg was inducted into Minot State's hall of fame in 1985. He was named the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) FCS Assistant coach of the year award in 2021.
Jeremy Blackwell – Strathmore High School Head Coach

Jeromy Blackwell is the head football coach at Strathmore High School in California, a position he has held for over two decades. He is recognized for leading the Spartans to 2 CIF State Championships. The 2017 Division 6-AA state title and the 2023 Division 7-A state championship. 5 Section Tiles, 4 California Regional Championships, 5 Central Section Championships, 8 East Sequoia League Championships
Kevin Hettig – Corona Del Mar Head Football Coach
“Developing an Offensive Line in a High School Program” (2weeks)
Coach Kevin Hettig is the head football coach at Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, California. A longtime leader within the Sea Kings program, Hettig previously served as associate head coach and offensive coordinator during one of the most successful eras in school history. In that role, he helped lead Corona del Mar to four CIF Southern Section championships and three additional CIF finals appearances, including two historic 16–0 seasons that culminated in CIF State Championships in 2013 and 2019. Since taking over as head coach, Hettig has continued that tradition of excellence, guiding the Sea Kings to a CIF Southern Section Finals appearance in 2023 in his first season at the helm. Known for his innovative offensive approach and quarterback development, he has helped produce multiple college-level players. A graduate of UC San Diego, Hettig also holds a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration and is widely respected for his impact on student-athletes both on and off the field.

Chris Rizzo is a veteran high school football coach serving as the defensive coordinator for the Sierra Canyon School Trailblazers. Known for leading a strong defensive unit referred to as "The Kaboom Squad," he previously served as the head coach at Taft High School before joining the staff at Sierra Canyon.
Damon Jenkins – San Joaquin Memorial Head Coach
"Defensive Back Fundamentals and Training Elite Discipline”
Damon Jenkins is the head coach at San Joaquin Memorial starting in 2026. Previously, he led Kerman High School for four years (2022–2025), compiling a 37-17 record and securing the school's first Division III section championship in 2024.
