Lil Cats Soccer Camp

We are excited to host our Little Cats camp this summer which will all be run and coached by current K-State Soccer staff members and players. Choosing to attend these camps will provide an opportunity to learn and develop all types of different soccer skills as well play games and engage with the rest of the Manhattan youth soccer community. We look forward to seeing everyone on the field this summer… GO CATS!

• Cleats, shin guards, ball (pumped up), water bottle, sunscreen

• We will not be providing snacks. Please pack a snack for your child.

Pay full price for one child take $20 for each additional sibling
Must be registered within the same transaction for discount to apply

Drop-off and check-in location:

Buser Family Soccer Park, 1628 College Ave., Manhattan, KS 66502. There is a parking lot between the baseball/soccer stadiums that you can park in.

Timeline:

• 8:45-9:00am - Registration/Parent Sign In at Buser Family Park
• 9:00-9:15am - Group Warm-Up and Introduction to Theme of the Day 
• 9:15-11:00am - Small group session on theme of the day 
• 11:00-11:15am - Snack Break
• 11:15-11:45am - Small sided games 
• 11:45-12:00pm - Debrief and plan for next day  
• 12:00pm - Pickup/Parent Sign Out

• Monday - Dribbling 
• Tuesday - Passing/ Receiving  
• Wednesday - Shooting/ Finishing/ Goalkeeping 
• Thursday - Defending  
• Friday - Camp games/4v4 tournament

Stay and watch:

Parents, family and friends are more than welcome to stay and watch.

Certified Athletic Trainer/Hydration:

We will have a trainer on-site through the duration of the camp.  They will assist with any injuries that occur during camp, but will not be allowed to administer any medications. If your child has a condition that requires medication, please contact us prior to the start of camp.  In addition, we will have a hydration station available (Water and Gatorade), but please bring your own water bottle.

Weather Plan:

In the event of bad weather we will bring the campers inside our facility that is right next to the field.  Additionally, if necessary we will utilize Shamrock Football Practice Indoor facility – a 5 minute walk from the field.

Coaching staff:

The staff will consist of K-State coaches and our current players

We will be posting camp updates and photos on Facebook (K-State Soccer), Twitter (@KStateSOC) and Instagram (kstatesoc).  If you don’t want your child’s photo on social media platforms please let us know prior to the start of camp.

Refund Policy:
Refunds will be available up until one week before the camp. After the one week deadline, the registration will turn into a credit for a future camp.
