Oakdale Field Hockey Camp

Event Registration Details
JUNE 1ST & 2ND, 8TH & 9TH
Ages: Entering K - Fall 2026 Freshman Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm Cost: $105 ($100 + $5 Fees)

Campers will be taught fundamental hockey skills through drills, games and strategy sessions. The experienced staff will provide top quality instruction for all players regardless of ability or experience. All levels and ages are welcome to join us this summer. Groups will be divided by skill level & age groups. Each camper will get a t shirt.

What to Bring:

All players should bring a mouthguard, shin guards, stick, and a water bottle. If you do not have a stick one will be provided.

Director: Sherry Morres has coached field hockey at various levels from clinics to High School. She joined the Oakdale coaching staffing the fall of 2021 as the JV co-coach. She has been the Varsity field hockey coach at Oakdale High School since the 2022 season. The team recently celebrated their second regional title in school history in the 2023.

Co – Director: Ashley Raiford has been coaching various levels of field hockey for the past 10 years for the Linganore, Oakdale, Urbana Youth Athletic Association (LOUYAA). In the fall of 2021 Ashley took over as the LOUYAA Field Hockey Commissioner as well as the co-coach JV position at Oakdale High School. Ashley is looking forward to continue as Head JV coach for the fall 2026 season.

Co – Director: Kara Rymon played field hockey at Kennett High School in Kennett Square, PA. Kara was consistently voted All County 1st and 2nd team for both field hockey and lacrosse during her high school career. She went on the play Division III lacrosse at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. Kara has coached field hockey since 2013 for all different levels and ages. In the 2022-2023 school year, Kara joined the Oakdale High School Field Hockey coaching staff.
