Step into the world of healthcare in this interactive camp! Meet real-life healthcare professionals, explore career opportunities, and develop essential caretaking and lab science skills.
- Learn hands-on patient care and laboratory skills.
- Explore many careers in health care.
- Priority will be given to first-time campers.
Healthcare Camp activities are similar from one year to the next. For specific questions about camp content, please contact Renae.Oines@k12.sd.us.
Camp Cancellation Policies:
Partial refunds will be issued to participants who cancel a minimum of 14 days prior to the first day of camp (a processing fee of $10 will be kept on all refunds). No refunds will be issued for any cancellations made within 14 days of the camp. We do keep a waitlist for camps, so please notify us if you are unable to participate as another camper may then have the opportunity.
Low Enrollment Cancellation:
If minimum enrollment has not been reached one week prior to a camp session, we reserve the right to cancel the camp. Parent or guardian will be contacted by telephone or email. If we are unable to accommodate a suitable transfer to a camp in the same summer, we will issue a full refund.
