T-Ball
GYS T-Ball is a recreational program for 4 and 5 year olds. Players must turn 4 years old by June 1, 2026. If your child is currently enrolled in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, please register them for Kindergarten Coach Pitch. Players must attend Gilbert Schools or live in the Gilbert School District in order to participate. This league is focused on the fundamentals of baseball and softball including throwing, hitting, fielding and running bases.

Saturdays, June 6, 13, 20, 27
8:30 - 9:15 a.m. Practice
9:15 - 10:00 a.m. Game
All teams will practice at the same time on Fields 1 and 2 at the Gilbert Elementary Ballpark with a short game to follow.
Uniforms & Equipment
Registration fee includes a shirt and hat. All players will need a baseball glove. The league provides bats and batting helmets. Cleats or athletic shoes should be worn.
Coaches
Teams are coached by parent volunteers, and many parents are needed to make this a positive experience. Knowledge of the sport is not needed to coach. The league will assist in planning practice. Most important is a willingness to make it fun for the kids!

Head coach volunteers will have registration fees refunded.
