Event Description

INDIANA TECH SUMMER TRACK AND FIELD CAMP

17 time NAIA National Indiana Tech will host a track and field camp at the brand new indoor Doug Edgar indoor track complex and Warrior Park Outdoor track complex on Saturday, July 18th. The camp will consist of event specific training for all groups. Athletes in grades 5-12 are eligible to attend the camp. Special Hotel details are available.

Cost: $105 ($100 + $5 Fees)

Location: Warrior Park Track and field facility located at 377 E. Tillman road

Things to bring: Athletic clothes, Trainers, Spikes, Water

Event Registration Details

Camp May include:

  • Event specific technical coaching
  • Timing
  • Video review
  • Timed intervals
  • Training with All American College athletes
  • Work with a 16 time National Championship coaching staff
  • Full use of track facility and weight rooms
Camp Registration Dates and Information

Events Offered:

  • Throws: shot put, Weight, disc, jav, and hammer
  • Sprints/strength training: Blocks, technique, Speed work, speed endurance, mechanics: Doug Edgar and Chauntiel Smith-Jones
  • High Jump and Long Jump:  JW Maierle
  • High and intermediate hurdles Hurdles: Wes Wheeler
  • Pole Vault: Ken Ciolek

Additional Details: 

  • Lunch will be provided, please list any dietary restrictions your child may have for the event. 
  • This is a rain or shine event, the indoor track will be used in case of inclement weather**
  • No refunds for this event, if an emergency arises please speak with camp director directly**

    • 10:00 am - 10:30 am | Check in (Edgar indoor track)
    • 10:30 am - 11:00 am | Parents session (parents free to go during the camp or watch if desired)
    • 11:00 am - 12:15 pm | Session 1
    • 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm | Lunch
    • 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm | Guest speaker
    • 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm | Session 2
    • 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm | Guest speaker #2
    • 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm | Session 3
    • Dismissed to parents for the night*
