Event Description

ID Camps

Led by Head Coach Sam Odell and the USC Upstate Women's Soccer staff, players aspiring to compete at the D1 level and join the Spartan Army will experience a 'day in the life' of an USC Upstate Women's Soccer player. The schedule includes a focus on both technical and tactical development & evaluation, alongside a tour of Upstate's athletic facilities, players will be exposed to life as an USC Upstate Women's Soccer player with a particular focus on the new vision & playing philosophy that forms the backbone of the program under Coach Sam Odell. 

Additionally, our Goalkeeper coach will run a session specific to all Goalkeeper registrants during the morning technical session.

Additional Information

Camp Itinerary:

  • 9:45 – 10:00am: Player check in
  • 10:00am - 11:30am: Technical session (culminating in small sided games). During this period, our Goalkeeper coach will work exclusively with all goalkeeper registrants. 
  • 11:30am - 12:00pm: Lunch
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Upstate Facilities Tour
  • 1:00pm - 2:30pm: 11v11 games
  • 2:30pm - 3:00pm: Q&A with Upstate Coaching Staff 
  • 3:00pm: Depart campus

What to Bring:

  • Cleats & shin guards
  • Lunch (food will not be provided)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
