Slippery Rock University Drum Major and Color Guard Camp
The Slippery Rock University Drum Major and Color Guard Camp is a six day intensive for students in grades 7-12 interested in building skills as current or future drum majors and/or color guard members. The camp focuses on the following: drum majors - leadership, conducting, field commands, teaching stationary and moving fundamentals, effective communication, social activities, networking, and more. Color guard participants will learn flag fundamentals, fundamentals of dance, fundamentals on sabre and rifle. A complete, detailed schedule will be distributed to participants following our registration deadline.
