Reiter comes to Ann Arbor from the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, where he was the USNTDP Goaltending Coach from 2013-17 before being named Director of Player Personnel in 2017. Reiter’s responsibilities with the NTDP included overseeing USA Hockey’s National Goaltending Program, coaching the NTDP goalies, evaluating, recruiting and educating prospective National Team players and families. In addition to working with the NTDP, he also coached in various International Ice Hockey Federation Events: Youth Olympics, U18 World Championship, World Junior Championship and Men’s World Championship.
Prior to joining the USNTDP, Reiter spent two seasons coaching professionally overseas in the Alps Hockey League. He acted as the Assistant and Goaltending Coach of the WSC Sterzing-SSI Vipiteno Broncos, as well as coaching junior teams in the organization. Before his coaching career, Reiter played professional hockey for seven years in both the United States and Europe.
