Event Description
Our Elite Prospect Camp is built for elite athletes with the skill, drive, and commitment to compete at the collegiate level.
Led by our experienced coaching staff, this camp provides advanced, position-specific training drills designed to refine technique, elevate game IQ, and prepare players for the demands of college softball. This is the ideal environment for players ready to showcase their ability, sharpen their competitive edge, and take the next step in their softball career.
PROSPECT CAMPS:
August 23rd, 2026 | Ages: 13 – 18 year-olds (Rising 8th Grade – 12th Grade)
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Limited to 100 athletes
- Lunch Break – food NOT provided
- 1 Day of Camp
COST:
$235 per session
($215 + $20 Fees)

Bank of the James Field at Veterans Memorial Park
230 Veterans Memorial Drive
Harrisonburg, VA 22801
INSTRUCTORS WILL INCLUDE:
- Run by JMU Softball Players and Coaches
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING TO REGISTRATION:
- Camp Waiver - Emailed to all campers in advance of camp
- If camper is being picked up by anyone other than their listed guardian, please bring a note to check-in with that information

- Spending Money
- Sunscreen
CAMP SCHEDULE:
Camp check-in will begin at 9:30 AM. Camp will conclude at 5:00 PM.
A camp schedule will be sent out no later than 24 hours before camp begins. Campers will need to bring their own water bottle and can also bring snacks as needed. There will be an hour lunch break in the early afternoon. Lunch will NOT be provided.
If any schedule changes arise due to weather, they will be communicated via email and text message. All schedules are subject to change.
REFUND POLICY:
Full refund available if cancellation by email occurs by at least 7 days prior to your scheduled event (168 hours prior to camp start time). After that time, no refunds or credits will be given. If an individual cannot attend due to a medical reason, please provide a doctor’s note to herzigjl@jmu.edu to receive a refund. No refunds will be given for voluntary exit from camp.
