USA Softball Futures Development Combine

The USA Softball Futures Development Combine delivers a comprehensive evaluation and development experience in a structured, competitive environment, guided by college coaches.

This is not just a camp—it’s an opportunity for players to measure their abilities, receive detailed feedback, and apply their skills in game situations.

What Athletes Can Expect:

Metric Testing

Athletes will be evaluated using objective measurements to establish a performance baseline and track development.

• 20-Yard Dash
• Exit Velocity
• Overhand Throwing Velocity
• Catcher Pop Times (for catchers)
• Pitching Velocity (fastball, change-up, and one spin pitch)

Defensive & Offensive Evaluations

Players will be taken through position-specific drills and evaluated on:

• Defensive fundamentals and footwork
• Arm strength and accuracy
• Hitting mechanics, approach, and consistency
• Overall athleticism and body control

Scrimmage Game Play

Athletes will compete in live scrimmage games, allowing coaches to evaluate:

• Game awareness and instincts
• Situational play
• Competitiveness and effort
• Ability to translate skills into game performance
