Event Description
BGSU Swim Clinic
Foundations of Breaststroke
In this clinic, we will cover the foundations of breaststroke and practice the skills needed to swim more effectively. Breaststroke is often regarded as one of the most difficult strokes to learn and excel in. Each individual has their own unique way of swimming the stroke. If you watch the Olympics, you will see 8 different versions of the same stroke being swam. In our clinic, we cover the foundational skills required in any type of breaststroke, body position and timing among the most important skills we cover. These two skills are often overlooked when making changes to technique. With the use of underwater and above water cameras, we can provide instant feedback in all aspects of the stroke. We will cover drills and habits we work with our college swimmers every day. These are skills you can continue to build on every time you touch the water.
Special Deal: If you register for 3 clinics this summer, your 4th clinic will be 50% off.
Note: Clinics require a minimum of 4 swimmers. If the minimum is not met the clinic may be cancelled. You may receive a refund (less convenient fee) or move to another clinic.
