The Summer Prospect Camp is an important prospect identification tool for the Bluffton University baseball program. While serving to identify top prospects, it also allows the prospects to spend a day with our program and gain valuable exposure to our staff and players, while performing on Memorial Field, one of the best fields in the region.

Check-in begins at 10:30 AM.

LOCATION: Bluffton University Memorial Field

WHAT TO BRING: Campers should bring all of their own equipment, which should be clearly marked. Each camper should also bring their own water bottle and also a snack or light lunch.  

WHAT TO EXPECT: The Bluffton Summer Prospect Camp will include a pro-style workout: a timed running of the 60, defensive evaluation, batting practice and a simulated game. Campers will also have a period of defensive instruction at their primary position. The duration of the game will depend on the number of pitchers that attend the camp. Each participant will have the opportunity to be evaluated at his primary position, and secondary position by availability. Players who indicate pitching as their primary position will be guaranteed to pitch during the simulated game. Players who indicate pitching as a secondary position will be evaluated in a bullpen session (if unable to pitch during the simulated game).

Total registrations will be limited to 50 campers.
