WSC Baseball Camps
All-Star Camp
The 27th annual Wayne State College All-Star Baseball Camps will be on August 7th. This camp will feature premier talent from the Midwest. Many of the players who have attended our camps have gone on to play college baseball. You may choose which session to attend, but each session is on a “First Come, First Serve Basis” and is limited to the first 50 paid applicants. Sessions will begin at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Camp check-in is at 8:30 AM or 1:30 PM. You will receive confirmation notice in regard to your registration by email.
The Wayne State All-Star Camp is an instructional/evaluation camp designed for players to showcase their baseball skills to college coaches and professional scouts while learning baseball fundamentals. The camp format will be as follows: 60-yard dash, infield/outfield evaluations, catcher’s pop times and batting practice followed by a game where we will evaluate pitchers.
Every college coach from the five state region has been invited. Notable’s from camp in the past five years include coaches from Nebraska-Omaha, SDSU, Northeast CC, Des Moines Area CC, Iowa Central CC, Iowa Western CC, Iowa Lakes CC, Ellsworth CC, Marshalltown CC, Southeast CC, Concordia University, Mount Marty, Briar Cliff, Morningside, Buena Vista, Simpson College, Dakata State, Peru State, Nebraska Wesleyan, Central College, Doane, Hastings, and Midland.

Add-On: $75
- For an additional fee, WSC staff will film your workout, compile the video together along with your evaluation, and return to you in the following weeks after the event.
- This is something new we are trying, but our goal is to give you video along with your evaluation, as well as have your measurements on it.
- You can use this video for self-reflection, or to send out to more college coaches or post on your social media profiles.
