Fall Prospect Camp

at Calvin University

The Calvin University Softball Fall 2026 Prospect Camp will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026, at Gainey Softball Field on the campus of Calvin University. Camp runs from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  

Calvin University coaches, along with members of the Calvin softball team, invite softball players in graduating classes 2027-2030 (plus transfers) to come to campus for a morning of skills, softball and fun! This is a great opportunity to learn about the Calvin program as well as see what it takes to play softball at the next level. This is a half-day camp in which we’ll focus on hitting, baserunning and defensive strategies. Lunch in the dining hall and a tour of campus will be included after the camp for those interested in attending.   

Work side-by-side with Calvin University athletes and coaches who will help you focus on fundamental softball skills, as well as the advanced skills used at the collegiate level. Registration fee includes a Calvin Softball T-Shirt. Participants should bring a water bottle and softball equipment: glove, bat, helmet, catching gear, cleats and turf or tennis shoes.
