High School Indoor Volleyball Prospect Clinic

The Howard Payne University Prospect Volleyball Clinic is an elite 2-hour training opportunity designed for serious volleyball athletes entering 9th grade through incoming college freshmen who are looking to elevate their game and gain exposure in a collegiate training environment.  

Led by the Howard Payne University coaching staff and Stinger Volleyball players, this high-energy clinic is built to mirror the intensity, pace, and expectations of a college practice. Athletes will be challenged through advanced drills, competitive gameplay, position-specific training, and high-repetition skill work focused on preparing players for the next level. Competitive play will also be incorporated throughout the clinic, giving athletes the opportunity to apply their training in live game situations while showcasing their volleyball IQ, communication, competitiveness, and ability to perform under pressure.  

This clinic is designed not only to sharpen your volleyball skills — including serving, passing, attacking, blocking, defense, and volleyball IQ — but also to give athletes the opportunity to be evaluated by the Howard Payne coaching staff as potential future recruits. Players will gain valuable insight into what college coaches look for in athletes both on and off the court, including communication, effort, leadership, competitiveness, and coachability.  

Beyond the physical side of training, athletes will also be challenged mentally and spiritually to compete with confidence, composure, and purpose. Coach Amy, an Elite Performance Mindset Coach, will help athletes develop mental toughness, fearless confidence, and a championship mindset while learning how to focus on the controllables and perform under pressure with the joy of the Lord. 

Players will be grouped by age and skill level to maximize competition, repetitions, and individual growth in a positive, encouraging, and highly competitive environment.

Additional Camp Information 

Arrival Time 

Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in so camp can begin promptly each day. 

What to Wear & Bring 

• Athletic clothing and court shoes
• Knee pads are highly recommended but not required
• A closable water bottle
  •  (No open straw Stanley-style cups, please.)

Refund Policy 

Refunds will not be processed after July 1, in order to accommodate staffing and camp planning based on registration numbers. 

Age & Gender Policy 

To ensure fairness, safety, and proper training groupings, campers must attend the session designated for their age group and gender. No exceptions.
