MSU Billings Women's Soccer Camps

Yellowjacket 5v5 Futsal League

In an effort to give players in our region an opportunity to compete together during the winter months, the MSU Billings Women’s Soccer Program will be hosting the 1st Annual Yellowjacket Futsal League.

Cost: $370 per Team 
($350 + $20 Fees)

League Format:

  • All matches played in Alterowitz Gym(Lower Gym)-1500 University Dr, Billings, MT
  • 5 Divisions: Adult Coed, HS Girls, HS Boys, Youth Girls, Youth Boys 
  • 6 teams per division
  • 5v5 competition (4 Field Players + 1 GK).
  • League play through the month of December. Semi Finals and Finals in January.
  • Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 league games.
  • Games are played with a futsal ball.
  • Additional rules and schedule will be emailed to coach/team manager prior to league play.

Tentative Schedule:

  • League Play, December 4th – December 20th
  • Semi-Finals: January 8th – January 10th
  • Finals: - January 15th – January 17th

Roster:

  • There is a minimum of five players and a maximum of ten players per squad. Due to the limited number of teams allowed to participate the first 6 teams to submit entry fees will be guaranteed a place in the league.

What to Bring:

Players should bring a t-shirt, shorts, socks, shin guards, and indoor shoes (non-marking soles). Goalkeeper must wear colors that will distinguish them from all other players. No cleats or turf shoes will be allowed in the gym. Shin guards are required for all players. Knee braces with exposed metal must be wrapped or covered. Watches, rings, looped earrings, or necklaces must be removed for safety reasons.

Surface:

The gym was recently renovated to improve the lighting and flooring. Taraflex® Sports Flooring, used in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics, was installed to provide a safer, more consistent and versatile playing surface. All Taraflex® synthetic floors are designed for safety and comfort. Their multi-layered construction includes 100% pure vinyl, a reinforced fiberglass grid and closed-cell foam backing to provide shock absorption, deliver consistent ball bounce, and protect against skin burns.
