Step onto the field and experience what it’s like to train the Cyclone way.

Our 2-Day Prospect Camp is designed for athletes in grades 7–12 who are interested in competing at the next level and want the opportunity to showcase their skills in a fun, competitive college environment. Over the course of two days, campers will work directly with Iowa State Softball coaches and players through offensive and defensive instruction, position-specific training, competitive drills, and live scrimmages.

This camp is more than just reps—it’s an opportunity to learn, compete, and grow while experiencing the energy and culture of Iowa State Softball.

Athletes can expect:

  • Offensive and defensive skill development 
  • Position-specific work 
  • A fast-paced, energetic environment focused on growth and confidence

Camp Schedule:

Saturday Aug 15th 9:00am-5:00pm 
8:30am | Check In Starts 
9:00am -12:00pm | Skills 
12:00pm - 1:00pm | Lunch (Recommended packed lunch) 
1:00pm - 5:00pm | Scrimmage 
Sunday Aug 16th 9:00am - 12:00pm 
9:00am - 12:00pm | Scrimmage 

What to bring:

  • Glove
  • Helmet
  • Bat
  • Turfs/Tennis Shoes
  • Cleats
  • Water Bottle (Refill water will be provided)
  • Softball Pants
  • Batting Gloves/ Any other protective wear 

Additional Info:

  • Water will be provided 
  • An athletic trainer will be on site 
  • A Mizuno T-shirt will be given to each camper

Refunds will be given only as future camp credit.

Cyclone Softball Camps are open to any and all participants. These are not an Iowa State University Camps but are operated independently. The NCAA prohibits an ISU booster (other than a parent / guardian or close family member) from paying a portion of a campers camp fees. Permission to use ISU Trademarks is granted under agreement by Iowa State University.
