Event Description
Overnight Prospect Camp
The Overnight Prospect camp is designed for serious softball players who want to experience college softball and college life firsthand. This two-day overnight camp provides athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills, compete in game-like situations, and learn what it takes to play at the next level. Campers will stay overnight in the Grizzly Lofts and experience life as a college student-athlete. Throughout the camp, players will receive instruction from the Grizzly Softball Coaching Staff, including hitting, defense, pitching, catching, baserunning, and offensive strategy. Day one will focus on skill development through position-specific instruction, individual evaluations, competitive drills, and skill stations. Campers will also receive a guided campus tour through the admissions department, allowing athletes and families to learn more about academic programs, student life, and the college experience. Lunch and dinner will be provided on the first day. Day two will emphasize competition and game application. Athletes will participate in live game situations, scrimmages, and team-based activities designed to showcase their skills in a competitive environment. Breakfast and lunch will be provided before camp concludes. This camp is ideal for athletes who are interested in playing college softball and want exposure to college-level coaching while gaining valuable recruiting insight.
