Event Description

Day Camps

Join us this summer at the University of Alaska Anchorage for a fun and energetic youth basketball camp designed for girls and boys entering grades K-8. This camp is focused on introducing young players to the game while helping them build confidence, develop fundamental skills, and most importantly having fun playing basketball.

Campers will learn the core fundamentals of the game through engaging in drills, games, and competitions. Players will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure a positive learning environment where everyone can improve and enjoy the experience.

The camp will be led by the UAA Women’s Basketball coaching staff and players, giving the campers the opportunity to learn from collegiate athletes and coaches who are passionate about teaching the game. Each day will include skill instruction, team games, contests, and opportunities to build friendships with other young athletes from the community.

Whether your child is new to basketball or already loves the game, this camp is a great opportunity to develop skills, stay active, and experience the excitement of basketball in a supportive and energetic environment.

Campers will be asked to bring their own lunch and water for each day of camp.

Flexible registration options are available to join us for the full three days or a single day of camp.

For any questions regarding camp, please email seawolveswbb@gmail.com.
