Colleges will be listed below as they commit to attending the showcase.

Each year the Colleges and Professional Organizations below, who commit to attending this showcase, do actually attend it. They are very loyal to the ALABCA and attend if they say they are. However, from time to time some have to back out late due to personal, professional, etc. things that arise.

Where:

MOUNTAIN BROOK HIGH SCHOOL, 3650 Bethune Drive, Mountain Brook, Alabama 35223.

When:

Saturday, August 8, 2026:

PO’s and Catchers check-in from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (CST).
Position Players check-in from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Then workout thereafter. Depending on how many players are there will determine how long the workout will last. Players MUST pre-register to attend, max allowed are 150.

On-Line Pre-Registration only:

If the Players Head Baseball Coach is a current 2025 – 2026 ALABCA Member:

• $190.50 for Pitcher Only’s (they’ll throw first and leave).
  ($175 + $15.50 Fees)
• $270 for Position Payer only (may workout at only one position), or for a Pitcher/DH (take on-field BP, however they will not workout at a position, it takes too long).
  ($250 + $20 Fees)

If the Players Head Baseball Coach IS NOT a current 2025 – 2026 ALABCA Member:

• $243.50 for Pitcher Only’s (they’ll throw first and leave).
  ($225 + $18.50 Fees)
• $323 for Position Payer only (may workout at only one position), or for a Pitcher/DH (take on-field BP, however they will not workout at a position, it takes too long).
  ($300 + $23 Fees)

If 150 players pre-register before the August 4 (10:00 pm. CST) deadline, pre-registration will be closed.

Who’s eligible:

Current 9th – 12th Grader’s (2027 – 2030) may attend from any state: Public School, Private School or Home Schooled.

What to Bring:

Bring your own gear: Helmets (will not be shared) Bats, Gloves, Cleats (must wear plastic or rubber bottomed cleats on the field). Pitchers may wear spikes on the dirt mounds. Please mark your personal gear with a permanent sharpie marker.

Players may bring a snack, or sandwich, etc. to eat on their own, while waiting their turn to workout.

Bring your own water, gatorade, etc….

Showcase Itinerary:

Pitcher Only’s will throw a 10-pitch pen in front of the College Coaches and Pro Scouts. Pitcher Only’s may leave after throwing. Position Players be timed in the 60, Outfielders will throw from their positions/Infielders will field and throw from their positions & all position players will take on-field BP off of a hack attack machine in front of the College Coaches & Professional Scouts who are in attendance.

• 9:30 a.m.: Catchers will run the 60, while PO’s are throwing to get loose.
• 10:00 a.m.: PO’s throw live in the pen in front of College Coaches and Pro Scouts.
• Position Players will run the 60 while the PO’s are throwing live in the pen.
• On-Field Batting Practice off the Hack Attack Jr. pitching machine. 10 swings per player.
• Position Players may work out at ONE POSITION ONLY.
• Catchers throw 4 to 2B.
• OF’s throw 4 from right field.
• Infielders take ground balls and throw from their position.
• Showcase is over……
