JACKRABBIT INSTRUCTIONAL HITTING CAMP
The Jackrabbit Instructional Hitting Camp is open to 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 graduates and incoming JUCO Sophomores. This specialized hitting camp is designed to introduce the key mechanical concepts of the swing along with introducing the pillars and core values of our hitting philosophy. Hitters will be taught advanced swing mechanics through drill progressions along with the fundamentals of a good approach and situational based hitting. Swings will be taken on the field and in the cage.

Tentative Schedule of Events:
- 5:30 PM | Check in Opens

6:00 PM | Introductions/Hitting Talk
- Introduce the key mechanical concepts of the swing and best practices for a successful offensive approach. Also, introduce the core value and pillars of our hitting philosophy.

6:30 PM | Stretch/Mobility/Warm Up
- Teach the basic daily stretch routine along with mobility and warm up before swinging.

7:00 PM | Offensive Instruction/Training
- A series of drills that will lead each hitter to train certain aspects of their sequence and swing in the cage and on the field.
- 8:30 PM | Camp Concludes
Time and format are subject to change. For inclement weather, we would transition indoors to the SJAC across the street. Please check email daily as we approach the event as this is where all communication will take place.
Location: Erv Huether Field (1410 Jackrabbit Ave, Brookings, SD 57006)
Equipment Needed: Baseball pants or shorts, hat, shoes, cleats, bat, batting gloves and helmet.
Cancellation Policy: A $15 nonrefundable fee will be applied for any cancellations.
Additional Information: If a participant requires any accommodations due to special needs, we ask that you notify us via e-mail or in writing of those needs a minimum of two weeks prior to the camp start date so we can make the accommodations.

Jackrabbit Baseball Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
There cannot be any recruiting contact/communication with any junior college non-qualifiers who are in their first year of enrollment
