Event Description
LABOR DAY DEVELOPMENT CAMPS
The Labor Day Development Camps are split into two sessions. The first will run from 9a - 12p for grades K-6. The second session will run from 1p - 4p for grades 7 - 12. The morning session is geared toward the youth player and designed to introduce best practices of stretching, catch play, fielding at multiple positions and hitting. The afternoon session is geared toward the older players and will also introduce but go into more depth of arm care, mobility, movement prep, and gameday catch play. Each player will also have the opportunity to choose which position they would like to train for the hour-long defensive session. The last part of the camp will include offensive instruction which will introduce the key mechanical concepts of the swing. Hitters will be taught advanced swing mechanics through drill progressions and training.
