2026 8th Annual Minnesota Beach Brawl
We have established a way for you to reserve a spot without any upfront financial commitment. Simply click the "Register Now / Pay Later" option during registration. When the event is confirmed to take place, you will receive an email from us giving you the ability to pay. If at that time you still wish to attend, you can pay securely online. If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to attend the event, simply let us know. You won’t owe us anything.

Join us for one of the most fun wrestling events of the summer! The 2026 Minnesota Beach Brawl returns on Friday, August 21st at Hollywood Sports Complex. Grab your teammates, friends, and family for an evening of sand wrestling, food, games, and competition!

Age Groups & Weight Classes

Pre-K - 12th Grade

Scratch Weight (brackets will be created based on age and weight as closely as possible)

Check-In / Weigh-Ins: 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Wrestling: 6:30pm

Registration: $20.00

Register online through the waitlist or sign up at the door.
Payment is due the day of the event (Cash, Check, or Venmo accepted).
Location: Hollywood Sports Complex - 15950 County Rd 122, Watertown, MN, 55388

Attire:

  • Males: Swim trunks, board shorts, compression shorts, or a singlet
  • Females: Athletic one- or two-piece (no tie tops) or a singlet

Beach Wrestling Rules:

Beach wrestling is fast-paced and easy to follow for both wrestlers and spectators.

  • Matches take place inside a 21-foot sand circle.
  • First wrestler to 5 points or the wrestler leading after 3 minutes wins.
  • Scoring:
    • 1 point for a takedown
    • 1 point for a pushout
  • Wrestling restarts from the feet after every point
