End of Summer 3-on-3 Tournament

Compete in DWH Events' End of Summer 3-on-3 Tournament. Gather your team, compete against the area's top players, and close out the summer with a day of competitive basketball

Tentative Schedule

• 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | 3rd & 4th Grade
• 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM | 5th & 6th Grade
• 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM | 7th & 8th Grade
• 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM | 9th–12th Grade*

*High school divisions may be split by grade if registration numbers allow.

Tournament RulesTeam Composition

• Teams consist of 3–4 players.
• Players may only compete on one team.
• All players must complete registration before the event.

Game Format

• Half-court, 3-on-3.
• Games are 15 minutes or first team to 21 points, whichever comes first.
• Scoring:
• Games must be won by 2 points (25-point cap).
• 1 point inside the arc
• 2 points beyond the arc

Possession Rules

• Coin flip determines first possession.
• Play begins with a check ball at the top of the key.
• After every made basket, possession changes and the ball must be cleared beyond the three-point line before attacking.
• After defensive rebounds or steals, the ball must be cleared before attempting to score.

Fouls

• Tournament staff will ref each game.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct or repeated misconduct may result in a technical foul, ejection, or team disqualification.

Timeouts

• Each team receives one 30-second timeout per game.

Tournament Format

• Pool play followed by a single-elimination championship bracket.
• Every team is guaranteed at least three games.
• Bracket seeding will be determined by:
• Win-loss record
• Head-to-head result
• Point differential (maximum +15 per game)
• Points scored

Awards

• Championship prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division.
