Pitchers must bring their own catcher!

The Elite Pitching Academy is an exclusive, high-level training experience designed for pitchers who are committed to mastering their craft and competing at the highest levels of softball. Led by Duke Softball's coaching staff, this academy provides an in-depth look at the training, technology, and preparation used to develop elite collegiate pitchers.

Throughout the session, athletes will receive advanced instruction on pitch design, mechanics, pre-pitch movement preparation, and strategies for improving velocity, movement, command, and consistency. Pitchers will train in Duke's bullpen environment while utilizing TrackMan technology to analyze their own ball flight data, gaining valuable insight into spin characteristics, movement profiles, release metrics, and pitch effectiveness.

In addition to physical development, athletes will learn how data influences game management, pitch sequencing, hitter tendencies, and performance tracking—giving them a deeper understanding of how elite pitchers prepare to compete.
This is more than a pitching clinic—it's an opportunity to experience the standards, culture, and player development philosophy that define Duke Softball.

Whether your goal is to compete at the Power Four level, improve your pitch arsenal, or gain a competitive edge through data-driven development, the Elite Pitching Academy offers an unparalleled opportunity to elevate your game.  Each Pitcher must bring their own catcher!

Location: Smith Family Stadium (4 Brodie Gym Drive, Durham NC 27705)

What To Bring: Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.
