25th Annual The War at the Shore Tournament
Hosted by: Toms River Lightning & RKE JAXX Softball
Format: Teams will play a minimum of 5 games over 3 or 4 days (weather permitting).
All teams may use Showcase Rules in Pool Play Games.

Once again, Adventure Sports and their 8 All-Turf lighted softball fields is the main site for The War at the Shore! Full concessions, bathrooms, hitting cages along with an Indoor Bubble which has a full bar/restaurant, axe throwing, golf driving range, simulator and much much more! Located minutes from Great Adventure Theme Park, Wild Safari and Water Park! No Metal Cleats or sunflower seeds allowed! Toms River, Wall Twp and Jackson are all within 25 mins of each other. This tournament is the premier vacation destination so don’t delay registering.

The 14U, 16U Divisions will be held at the All-Turf Adventure Sports and Justice Complex in Jackson, NJ and will have a five game guarantee (weather permitting). Pool Play (2 Games) played over Thursday & Friday.
The 18U Divisions will be held at the All-Turf Adventure Sports and Justice Complex in Jackson, NJ and will have a five game guarantee (weather permitting). Pool Play (3 Games) played over Thursday & Friday.
- 14u and 16u Divisions will be seeded after Pool Games (top half goes to Gold Bracket and bottom half to Silver Bracket). Each Bracket will play out to 1st and 2nd Place.
- All 18u Teams will advance to Bracket Play which begins on Saturday. 18u Division will not be seeded but instead will play a per-determined 1st game. Winner of 1st Bracket Game will advance to Single Elimination Gold Flight – Loser of 1st Bracket Game will advance to Single Elimination Silver Flight. 18u Teams will play 5 different teams in their 5 games
- Early Out of State Registrations will be able to request Early or Late Start Time on Thursday on a first come, first serve basis. Pool play will be completed on Friday and Single-Elimination bracket play will begin on Saturday and Finish on Sunday.
- The Tournament will be USA Softball - NJ Sanctioned and each team will be required to provide proof of insurance.
- Only the first 24 Teams will be guaranteed a spot in each age group!
The War at the Shore usually sells out early so do not wait too long to register. This year’s field will be limited. There will be NO REFUNDS once your Fee is submitted. We expect this tournament to also fill up quickly.
Hotel Info to follow:
- Each Team will be Responsible for a $90 Umpire Fee (1 man) or a $75 Umpire Fee (2 man) that must be paid to the umpire before the start of each game.
- Hotels must be obtained through Book Your Block
