Event Description

25th Annual The War at the Shore Tournament

Hosted by: Toms River Lightning & RKE JAXX Softball

Format: Teams will play a minimum of 5 games (weather permitting).
All teams may use Showcase Rules in Pool Play Games.

12U B & C Teams | 24 teams per age division

Hotels must be obtained through Book Your Block

The 12u Divisions will be held in Toms River, Wall Twp. and Jackson, NJ. Each Team will have a 5-Game Guarantee (weather permitting). All Teams must be available to play 2 Pool Games each on Friday and Saturday.
  • When you Register for 12u Age Group we are offering 2 Separate Divisions: 12u Open/B and 12u C/Rec. Be sure to register accordingly.
  • Early Out of State Registrations will be able to request Early or Late Start Times on Friday on a first come, first serve basis. Pool play will be completed on Saturday and Single-Elimination bracket play will be played on Sunday. (Top half will go to Gold Bracket, remaining will go to Silver Bracket)
  • The Tournament will be USA Softball - NJ Sanctioned and each team will be required to provide proof of insurance.
  • Note: 12U(C) Rec Teams – must have a certified USA Roster – any guest player cannot come from another USA Team that has a 12U (B) or higher Ranking. Tournament reserves the right to move a 12U (C) Team after Pool into the 12U (B) Sunday Bracket.

The War at the Shore usually sells out early so do not wait too long to register. This year’s field will be limited. There will be NO REFUNDS once your Fee is submitted. We expect this tournament to also fill up quickly.

Hotel Info to follow:

  • Each Team will be Responsible for a $90 Umpire Fee (1 man) or a $75 Umpire Fee (2 man) that must be paid to the umpire before the start of each game.
  • Hotels must be obtained through Book Your Block
