Preseason Performance Series
With basketball season approaching, our campers are asking many of the same questions.
How can I stand out? How do I prepare for tryouts? What do coaches really look for? How can I help my program set the tone for the season ahead?
We’ve created the Preseason Performance Series to help answer those questions. Our three-hour clinics will help prepare middle and high school players for the next step in their basketball journey. Through fast-paced on-court instruction, competitive play, film study, leadership development, and exposure to the latest in sports performance, campers will learn what coaches are really looking for and how to separate themselves before the season begins. Expect the same qualities that define the Plumlee Basketball summer camp experience – world-class coaching, an engaging program, and opportunities to grow on and off the court in a fun, positive, supportive environment.
Whether you’re preparing for your first tryout, making the jump to varsity, or looking to earn a bigger role on your current team, these clinics will help you become the player coaches trust and teammates respect.
Attend one clinic or both. Each session offers a unique focus and together they provide a complete blueprint for preparing for the upcoming season.

Become the player coaches trust most. This clinic focuses on the qualities that separate dependable teammates from everyone else: understanding your role, making winning plays, communicating effectively, and leading through effort and consistency. Players will compete in game-like situations, study film, and learn how to become the type of teammate every coach wants on the floor in practice and in crunch time.
Players will learn:
- How to identify and embrace your role on any team
- Ways to earn a coach's trust every day in practice
- Basketball IQ and decision-making in game-speed situations
- Leadership and communication that elevate teammates
- Film study: why some players consistently earn playing time
- Late-game execution, poise, and team-first habits
Perfect for: Middle and high school players looking to earn a larger role, increase playing time, and become more impactful teammates.
