Augsburg College Volleyball Camps
2015 Varsity Team Camp 2

Thank you for your interest in our fifth-annual Augsburg College Varsity Volleyball Team Camp! We are excited to make this an annual event in your pre-season preparation to jump-start your team for the upcoming fall season.

How to Register:

1. Contact Head Coach Jane Becker to guarantee a spot for your team at camp!
2. Jane will enter your team’s information at: http://www.augsburgvolleyballcamps.com/
3. Once your team is registered, each player can go to augsburgvolleyballcamps.com and individually register under your team name. (If they register online, they also pay online.)
4. Jane will also email you a team-registration form so that we can better keep track of your requests, such as session times or having an Augsburg coach run your team practice.
5. If you prefer to register as a team, your players may bring payment to camp OR coaches may pay in one lump sum instead of having each player register individually.

*Also, all participants are required to fill-out and return injury release form prior to the start of camp.  Each head coach will be emailed a copy of this form upon registration and is responsible for distributing it to his/her team.

Day 1: Team Preparation Camp Information: (Sunday, July 19th)
Each team will participate in three volleyball sessions, including a team building session, a team practice, and a competition session where teams will face each other in controlled scrimmage games. Coaches are welcome to attend camp with his/her team but it is not required. Also, you may request to run your own practice OR have one of the Augsburg College Coaches run it for your team. Either way, current Augsburg volleyball players will serve as assistant court coaches for your team practice session. Each team will have three time slots, with at least one break for a team meal. We will do our best to honor all time slot requests.

Day 2: Varsity Team Competition Camp Information: (Monday, July 20th)
Team Competition will begin at 9am on Saturday and Monday. If a coach cannot be present for the competition date, a current Augsburg College coach or volleyball team member will stand in as a substitute coach for the day. Teams are guaranteed five matches against different opponents. *New this year - In order to guarantee everyone 5 matches AND keep the playing time schedule moving along faster, we will play 2 sets to 25 during pool play. We will then re-seed the tournament and play 2 out of 3 sets (Coaches may decide to keep it to 2 sets only in Championship Brackets if preferred). 

Overnight Option:
On-campus housing is available to any team that wishes to stay overnight. This year, teams will be in Anderson, which offers townhome style housing. Housing requests will be honored in the order they are received!  All housing units are air-conditioned and have full kitchens, but no cookware/dishes, etc. are provided. Also, overnight campers should bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels. One coach per team is allowed to stay for free; each additional coach is $35 dollars.
