Event Description

2016 BOYS ACADEMY

Maryland Volleyball officially announces that Olympic Gold Medalist and former Olympic Coach, Aldis Berzins (Bio below), and local coaches have designed an intense, yet fun,  high level volleyball training experience for boy volleyball players in the DMV area. The extension of the boys program with Aldis is part of Maryland Volleyball continued effort to increase opportunities for the local DMV area to have access the sport of volleyball.

Come join us and experience 2 nights of Olympic level training at the Boys Academy, taught by a staff with success at all levels: Olympic player and coach, starters on NCAA Division I championship teams, international players, and Maryland high school boys county champs.

This academy will accept boys, 7th to 12th graders, with varsity and club level experience. All playing positions are welcome!

Do you want to correct mistakes keeping you down in the flights at JOs, or missing the county championships? The academy dates are set to be shortly after the Boys Junior Olympic Championships, the best time to get feedback and correct mistakes – that should NOT wait until the Fall!

Do you want your sons to experience the level of intense training that it takes to play at the collegiate level and vie for athletic scholarships? Your son will leave this camp with the know-how to improve his game and the confidence to take it to whatever level he chooses.
