2-Day Kicking School
A Kicking Camp will also be held by Rocky Willingham, Owner / Director of Rocky Willingham Kicking Services. Rocky has over 30 years of coaching experience on the field. Coach Willingham holds similar camps for LSU, UT, Texas Tech, TCU, and Baylor. Since 2004 Rocky's Punters have won three Ray Guy Awards for the Nation’s best Punter. In the past 15 years, Rocky's kickers have either won, or been a finalist for, the Lou Groza Award, including 2011 winner Randy Bullock.
Facilities: Practice will be conducted on the numerous outdoor practice fields which serve the “Mustangs” during their grid season. Also available for use will be the D.L. Ligon Coliseum, the Clark Student Center Recreation Room, MSU Weight Room, and other MSU facilities.
What To Bring:
- Three day supply of t-shirts, gym shorts, athletic socks, and underwear along with a three day supply of casual clothes.
- Tennis shoes and football shoes.
- Towels, pillows, sheets (twin XL beds), blanket, toiletries and miscellaneous personal items.
- Spending Money-there will be a camp bank to hold your money. We will have a raffle of NFL gear on Thursday evening.
Housing & Meals: Campers will be housed two to a room at Pierce Hall Dorm which is located in back of the Clark Student Center. Roommate requests should be made on the application. All meals will be served in the University dining hall. Every meal will be on an “All You Can Eat” basis. The quality and variety of food is excellent.
Physicals: Each applicant must have a physical by a family or school physician within the last year. Please have a copy of this with you when you check in or mail in with your deposit. This can be last year's physical.
