Overnight Camp Session I
May 27 - 31

Brett Hawke and Sergio Lopez come together to lead the Auburn Swim Camps along with a staff of highly qualified, accomplished, and enthusiastic coaches, counselors and collegiate swimmers. Brett Hawke's coaching staff will combine the best of the Auburn Camp Tradition while incorporating the techniques used to create champions across the globe.

This camp will feature technique instruction which will provide swimmers with the tools for success that can be applied to their training and development throughout their careers. Outside of the pool, we have some great talks lined up covering a range topics including racing strategies, being mentally tough, health and wellness tips and special guests who will share their motivational stories.

Airport Pick Up & Departure Transportation Services: Camp Counselors will personally escort your child to and/or from Atlanta International Airport. When making flight reservations to and from the Atlanta International Airport please schedule flights according to times listed below.

  • Arrival: Please ARRIVE NO LATER than 2:00pm Eastern Time.
  • Departure: Please DEPART NO EARLIER than 4:30pm Eastern Time

Dartfish Video | All 4 Strokes Analysis: Swimmers can order underwater stroke analysis video using Dartfish software comparing your child with a varsity AU swimmer. This is an underwater comparison of your son or daughter to a current/former Auburn Varsity swimmer. Members of the Auburn University Men's and Women's Swimming Team Coaching Staff provide the commentary of the critical components of the stroke, what to look for in your own stroke and what a swimmer should be doing to execute the stroke appropriately. All four strokes are compared and analyzed. At the end of camp you will receive an email link that will show their underwater video playing at the same time as the underwater video of the University swimmer. There will be key positions and audio commentary for each stroke.

Dartfish Video | Individual Stroke Analysis: Swimmers can be recorded in their stroke of choice, with a coach providing one-on-one technique analysis. The swimmer will be recorded and then one of the Auburn University coaches will analyze and provide specific feedback regarding the swimmer’s stroke. After explaining to the swimmer what corrections to make, the swimmer will be recorded again so that they may see the difference. The swimmer will be provided both videos to take home with the comments included so they make continue to practice the corrections once home.
