Competitive Swim: Sprint Camp
2019 Competitive Swim: Sprint Camp
Swimmers will be given the opportunity to learn all the key fundamentals for sprinting in their events. Each day we will concentrate on certain aspects of sprinting with the focus of POWER! We will also have a classroom set up where we will have video discussion for each swimmers stroke, starts and turns. Each swimmer will also be working with a full time Grand Valley coach.
This is a teaching camp and that we will use videos, have discussions and lectures to help them learn how to swim their races. We will focus on resistance training, explosiveness off the blocks, fast turns and good finishes.

Also note: Instructors and staff are not permitted to be in the bathroom area with any participants. There are family restrooms available and just ask an instructor/staff member where they are located.
Accidents: Our camps provide accident insurance coverage for all participants in our summer camp activities. Only ACCIDENTS that occur in sponsored and supervised summer camp activities are covered. View important information regarding this coverage in the following document View Accident Insurance (PDF). It is intended as a brief description for reference only, and is not the policy. Complete forms may be turned in at the start of camp.
