ANKENY CENTENNIAL HS CAMPS | All District Swimming & Diving Camps

This Swim Camp is led by the Ankeny Swimming Coaching Staff. Open to ANY and ALL Students Enrolled in Ankeny Community Schools. |
DISTRICT FREESTYLE & BACKSTROKE
Ankeny Head Boys Swim Coach Justin Crouch will provide skill instruction in freestyle and backstroke along with turns and starts. In addition to the coach, the camps will have current high school swimmers to help teach and demonstrate top level swimming technique. Swim goggles are highly recommended.
LOCATION: Trail Point Aquatics Center
BEGINNING: This camp is designed for newer swimmers or those with less than 2 seasons of swim team experience. Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance. Backstroke and freestyle drills and strokes will be introduced along with proper technique for turns and starts off the block.

INTERMEDIATE: This camp is designed for swimmers who have been on a swim team for 3 or more seasons. The focus will be on developing excellent technique in backstroke and freestyle along with the turns and starts for fast swimming.
