Event Description

Summer Swim Team

at Calvin University

The Calvin Summer Swim Team will be a part of the West Michigan Swim League. The schedule is determined late April and will be available at start of practices. Meets are typically on Thursday mornings or afternoons; 4 dual meets & championship meet – dates TBD. Your registration includes 30 (8&U) or 45 (9&U) conditioning/training sessions designed to improve fitness, conditioning, and race strategy. Parents will have opportunities to sign their swimmer up for their small group lessons and purchase more for $25/session at www.calvinswimclub.com. These small group sessions will be available every week throughout the season.
May 6th - End Of Season (Mid-July, TBD)

May 6th - May 31st | No Practice on Memorial Day Monday
Ages 5 & up: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday | 5:00-6:00pm
*signups for private instructions will be available from 6-7

June 3rd - End of Season (Mid-July, TBD), Mon-Fri. | No Practice on July 4th-5th
Ages 5-10: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 11:00-12:00pm
Ages 11 & up: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 9:30-11am
*signups for small group instruction will be available from 11-12   
Cost:
Ages 5-10: $250 | $60 deposit
Ages 11 & up: $350 | $60 deposit
*swimmers may swim up in older age group if coaches feel they are ready

CAMP POLICIES

A SUIT IS NOT INCLUDED

LOCATION & CHECK IN: Lessons are held at the Venema Aquatic Center at the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex. Please meet on the pool deck on the first day, entering through the locker rooms (family, men’s & women’s locker rooms are available for use) on the lower level of the Hoogenboom Health & Recreation Center.
