2019 GIRLS FIRST SHOT SHOWCASE |
The First Shot Showcase is aimed at providing an opportunity for both exposure to and development from College Hockey coaches. Players will participate in a total of four games and four practice sessions while at the camp. In addition to the on ice experience, players will attend a three part lecture series on the following topics:
- Panel discussion with coaches on the recruiting process and what they are looking for.
- A question and answer session with current college hockey players about their experience in balancing academics and athletics and also being recruited.
- Nutrition and Training for Peak Performance
Previous coaches from the following programs were present: Curry College (Division III), SUNY Geneseo (Division III), SUNY Potsdam (Division III), Oswego (Division III), RIT (Division I), Brockport (Division III), Cortland (Division III), Plattsburgh (Division III), Elmira (Division III), King’s (Division III), Skidmore (Division III), Lincoln (USHL), NAHL Central Scouting, As this year’s coaching roster is finalized, bios will be added to the coaches tab.

COST OF THE SHOWCASE INCLUDES: T-Shirt, Information Binder, Jersey, and All Meals. Overnight cost covers all of the above items, plus housing in the on-campus Residence halls. All rooms will be equipped with sheets, a blanket, pillow and a towel.
EACH AGE LEVEL LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: 8 Goalies, 24 Defenseman, 48 Forwards
WHAT CAMPERS SHOULD BRING: Hockey gear, tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirts.
