2019 Auburn Tiger Junior Golf Camp

Join the Auburn University women’s golf coaching staff for a three day, two night camp on the campus of Auburn University. Attending the Auburn Tiger Junior Camp will benefit campers of all ages and skill level from beginner to advanced.
Campers will work directly with the Auburn University coaching staff and current players to receive both individual and group instruction. The Auburn Tiger Junior camp is dedicated to providing not only the best instruction but also the best experience for each camper. Each camper will leave camp a better golfer coupled with a great camp experience.
Specific Topics Will Include:
- Full swing – utilizing the latest technology in both Trackman and video
- Short game – utilizing the newly renovated short game facility featuring 4 greens
- Bunker play
- Putting
- Course Management
- Playing Strategy
- College golf information session
Check-In
Check-in will be held from 1:30pm-2:30pm on Sunday, June 9. All health forms will be required at this time. Upon acceptance of application you will receive a conformation letter of specific details and directions for check-in.
Golf Facilities
Campers will participate in instructional session held at the Jack Key Golf Teaching Facility, home of the Auburn Tiger Men’s and Women’s golf programs. This 29-acre, state-of-the-art facility boast both indoor and outdoor hitting facilities, practice putting greens, and the newly renovated short game facility.
What To Bring
Each camper will need to bring two sheets, blankets, pillow and approximately four towels. It is recommended that each individual bring enough necessary toiletries as well as some towels for golf. It is strongly recommended that each participant bring enough golf-related items: gloves, balls and tees. The camp will supply all teaching and practice golf balls. Spending money for the individuals is left to the discretion of the parents, and there will be a camp store at the dorms for deposit needs. Please label all personal items to prevent loss of property.
Housing
All campers will be housed in dormitories on the Auburn University campus. There will be constant supervision by our staff.
Meals
Meals will be served daily at the Jack Key Golf Teaching Facility and other Auburn FUN spots.
Insurance & Medical
All claims for medical expenses as a result of medical injuries incurred during camp must be filed by the injured parent’s coverage. All medical clearance and waiver forms must be completed and signed by a parent and a physician prior to the start of camp. Also, a front and back copy of your insurance card must be turned in. We make every effort to protect the health and safety of all campers.
Enrollment & Refund Policy
Enrollment for this camp or academy must have a minimum number of 4 participants or the camp director has the ability to cancel the camp or academy. A full refund for the camp cost only will be refunded. To have 100% of you camp cost refunded you must notify Associate Head Women’s Golf Coach, Andrew Pratt (apratt@auburn.edu), within 24 hours of the start of the camp.
