The combine is open to ALL recruits on a first-come basis for the limited field event. Recruits that have registered for the 2019 Coaches' Convention Combine and then sign Letters of Intent in November may still participate in the combine. It is never too early for recruits to gain exposure to College Golf Coaches, especially with the new NCAA recruiting rules. Participants will be allowed to use a caddy that can be a parent, coach or friend.
Dec. 5th, 6th & 7th - Practice round tee times available for College Golf Combine participants and parents/caddies.
4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Combine Registration Check-In at Clubhouse
December 8th - Golf Combine & Stroke Play
7:00 - 8:00 a.m. - Combine Registration Check-In at Putting Green
8:00 - 10:00 - Tee Times #1 & #10
Skills Challenges on Golf Course & Putting Green
9 Holes of Stroke Play for Coaches to Evaluate
Practice rounds are optional. Practice rounds will be available on Thursday, Dec. 5th, Friday, Dec. 6th and Saturday, Dec. 7th – tee times for Combine Participants and parents at combine rates will be paid directly to the golf course. The Skills Challenges on the course during the combine will use 9 holes. All participants will receive a list of each skills challenge 30 days prior to the combine for practice at home.
The host hotel will provide rooms at a discounted combine rate. We encourage everyone to stay at the host hotel, but it is not required for those that prefer to stay on the strip.
WHO IS WATCHING
The 2019 College Coaches' Convention Combine is held in conjunction with the Golf Coaches Association of America GCAA (men's coaches), and Women's Golf Coaches Association WGCA (women's coaches) Conventions in Las Vegas. The 2019 College Coaches' Convention Combine is part of the convention schedule for all coaches.
The combine skills challenges will test every part of a recruit's game. The Skills Challenges will be set-up over the 9 holes and on the clubhouse putting green. There will be 9 Holes of Stroke Play for Coaches to evaluate the recruits. College coaches will receive a Coach's Book with detailed resume information for all participants in the same format.
Registration is now open on a first come basis. Both boys and girls will be competing on the same course at different yardages and will be paired according to graduation year and coaches' requests.
