The UTSA String project provides university music education majors the opportunity to develop skills needed to become successful artist teachers. Of course, a primary benefit of the String Project is to offer beginning through advanced level music instruction to community students at both the Main and Downtown UTSA campuses on string instruments and classical guitar.
Because of the extraordinarily low tuition cost (about 4 dollars per class), the String Project does not usually offer scholarships. If you wish to apply for some financial assistance, please contact us. However, your child’s registration will not be processed until the week of September 11. Families will be notified by email if assistance is possible.
Thank you.
