Cancellation: January and February can be very challenging weather months – WE reserve the right to cancel Panther PLAY on Saturdays that are challenging or dangerous for travel for our students (they arrive for set-up @ 7:15am) and/or participants. UNI campus weather maintenance (clearing/salting of lots and sidewalks) is NOT prioritized on WEEKENDS so there are times the campus is icy/snowy and puts our students at risk in traveling to campus AND on campus. We appreciate your understanding and refunds will be processed if cancellations seem appropriate.

Parking: You may park in the lot directly north of the Wellness Center or in the lot across Hudson Road and take the tunnel to the Wellness/Recreation Center, entering through the northeast doors. Parking is FREE for Panther PLAY participant families.

Important: A parent or guardian is required to accompany EACH child during each session, we hope that you can provide 1 to 1 interaction for your child. If you have more than ONE child attending we ask that you have ONE adult for each child. We have found that most children feel more secure when a "familiar face" is nearby and although we take care in providing a challenging, yet safe environment, the adult parent/caregiver is still essential in promoting safe behaviors and activities within this environment.

We also REQUIRE that when circumstances dictate that older siblings must accompany the adult and UNI Panther PLAY™ participant to the session, the older child take a passive role during the session so as not to inhibit or endanger the younger children.

  • We ask that older children who may need to come with a parent or guardian stay with that parent or guardian during the entire session. Older children MAY NOT be on ANY EQUIPMENT or ENGAGED IN ANY OF THE ACTIVITIES that are planned for the 2-5 year old participants.
  • Best practice is to bring alternative activities for older children to engage during our sessions.

When you sign up your child that we use videotape or photo sessions to improve our educational program and do NOT share these outside of educational purposes
